As you move through life, do you feel the pulse of purpose or the fear of falling behind? From Phoenix, let’s tune to the frequency of efficiency.
Frequency refers to the rate of vibration , as in an electromagnetic field. Think of a radio, a light, or a person like you who vibrates with undeniable energy. Does your frequency default to presets, or can you control the dial?
Low frequencies present as complacency or indifference. Doing “just enough” to get there or get by, but always being slightly behind. Ultra high frequencies feel like everything’s urgent. A frenzy of pending emergencies that induces anxiety for you and everyone you encounter. It isn’t much fun for anyone or especially productive.
Between complacency, or mere competence on one end, and panicked frenzy on the other, is an optimal frequency for efficiency. You’re driving your life bringing energy and well timed effort. You’re not struggling to keep up or racing to what’s next. You are executing with excellence in the moment.
So, what is your default frequency? How does that serve you, and when might it work against you?
High frequency situations require precision, tuning to a particular wave. You may need to add energy of thought or movement – not by racing, but by responding with intention.
Dialing down may also be necessary to meet others where they are or to find calm and renewal of mind, body, and spirit. Slow your breathing, and allow your thoughts, words, and responses to relax into reality.
Once you learn to find the frequency of efficiency, you’ll have more fun while bringing more value. So don’t just do it. Dial it in. Until next week, stay Off Balance On Purpose.
