It’s Tuesday, December 9th. We have 22 days remaining in the year and fewer still before the holiday break. So here’s the question: Will you coast to completion, or execute to the end? And what could your ideal finish line look like?
As the year winds down, it’s easy to lower expectations, downshift our efforts, and enter holiday mode early. Everyone else is doing it. And if that’s your intentional choice, fantastic.
But there’s another option. What if we use this compressed window to discern what most matters, choose a year ending goal, and follow through, taking that victory right into holiday celebration.
What one last accomplishment would give you serious satisfaction or powerful peace of mind? For me, it’s completing the move into our new digital studio – an intentional disruption that’s chaotic now, but will be game-changing for how we will serve clients next year. It’s a big job, but doable, if I can focus and avoid distractions.
So, what’s your year end effort? Reaching a goal. Driving a project to completion? Starting something exciting and beneficial to bring confidence and momentum into 2026? You still have time to make that happen.
Or you can join the crowd and accept that “not much happens between now and New Years.” And that will be your reality, along with a sluggish start to next year. Personally, I think it’s more fun to focus in, double down, and follow through with intention. You know what to do, so let’s lean in and ensure that this New Year’s you have even more to celebrate. Until next week stay Off Balance On Purpose.
